Müller-BBM is a test facility accredited for inspection of proper installation and functionality and calibration of continuously functioning measuring instruments. This accreditation covers the following areas:

• No 5.3 of TA Luft
• § 17a par. 2 of the 1st BImSchV (Ordinance on small and medium combustion plants)
• § 12 par. 7 of the 2nd BImSchV (Surface treatment plants)
• §§ 26, 28 of the 13th BImSchV (Ordinance on large combustion plants)
• § 10 of the 17th BImSchV (Incinerator plants for waste and common combustible materials)
• § 7 par. 3 of the 27th BImSchV (Ordinance on crematoria)
• § 8 par. 3 and 4 of the 30th BImSchV (Ordinance on biological waste treatment plants)
• Annexe 6 No. 2.1 of the 31st BImSchV (VOC ordinance)

The operators of the abovementioned plants must continuously monitor and register their production of hazardous substance with stationary measuring instruments in case the plant performance or the emissions specific to hazardous substances exceed certain thresholds.

Depending on type of plant (power plant, chemical or waste treatment plants), the concentrations of carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, sulphur dioxide, dust, hydrogen chloride, ammonia, mercury or the sum of organic compounds and exhaust parameters (temperature, flow rate etc.) are continuously monitored and registered with emission value calculators.

We advise our customers on the selection of suitable measuring instruments and installation points and conduct the necessary inspections of these measuring instruments in the scope of our accreditation. This also includes the yearly functional inspections and the calibrations prescribed in three-yearly or five-yearly rotation.
