Müller-BBM is a test facility accredited in accordance with §§ 26, 28 of the Bundes-Immissionsschutzgesetz, BImSchG [Federal Immission Control Act]. This entitles us to inspect the adherence to the immission limit values. We feel strictly bound to confidentiality and neutrality towards our customers.

We conduct emission measurements in power plants, waste incineration plants, chemical plants and mineral oil refineries as well as in smaller operations such as paint shops, foundries or meat smoking facilities. Depending on the job, the tasks involve either simple cumulative measurement for determining dust-like and organic pollutants or elaborate laboratory methods for detecting heavy metal and highly toxic organic trace elements.

We conduct investigations on pollution directly at the site of impact (immission measurement) to determine the initial level of pollution in the area of impact of a planned large-scale plant. Requisite for the licence is adherence to fixed immission values once the plant has been commissioned. Our public clients also often desire immission measurements to be taken in the areas around busy roads. Given the success of the plant-related environmental protection measures of the past few years, automobile pollution now dominates the issue of immissions.
