Employers who run businesses that involve handling dangerous substances must provide sufficient protection for their employees. The Gefahrstoffverordnung, GefStoffV [Ordinance on Hazardous Substances] and the Technische Regeln für Gefahrstoffe, TRGS [Technical Rules for Hazardous Substances] govern this area. Müller–BBM has been accredited as a external test facility by the responsible accrediting body Zentralstelle der Länder für Sicherheitstechnik, ZLS [Central Office of the Federal States for Safety Engineering].
Often our customers demand only an orientating survey of the exposure to hazardous substances with a recognised measuring method. However, we also create complete work area analyses in accordance with TRGS 402 in which the endangering potential is rated, work out a suitable control survey plan and give advice on implementing exposure reducing measures.
We also provide safety-related support for an operation if a company does not have the prescribed personnel capacity with the appropriate expert knowledge of work safety law. Our safety specialists support the employer in all matters concerning occupational health and safety and accident prevention.
