Lighting of the workplace
Via the UVV (VGB 1) guideline of the trade associations, it has been legally stipulated that installations (i.e., also lighting systems) must be inspected in Germany before start-up, in the case of modifications, as well as later at regular intervals (for lighting systems every 3 years). The lighting installations of workplaces are to be checked by a specialist according to the safety guidelines BGR 131 of the German safety directives for artificial lighting of workplaces.

When electronic displays are used in the workplace, then the guidelines and inspections take on an even greater importance.
