For new or modernised facilities, we prepare acoustic expert opinions for submission to permit authorities. These normally contain recommendations regarding the design and construction of:
- building facades and roofs,
- insulation for sewage pipes and other piping,
- absorbers and enclosures,
- doors, windows and the like,
but they may also contain advice regarding primary noise abatement for motors (such as compressors, fans, electrical motors, pumps and valves). To verify that the sound insulation is adequate, the noise immission into the neighbouring surroundings is computed for the conceptual design that has been developed for the facility, and this is compared with the permissible immission level.
