Müller-BBM performs objective and independent measurements and computations, using our state-of-the-art measurement equipment, computer facilities and some test stands.
In our acoustic laboratories, we perform tests on construction prototypes. We use wall test stands to measure the airborne sound insulation of façade structures, wall structures and roof structures.
In our reverberation room, we measure the sound absorption coefficient of acoustic facings in the diffuse acoustic field, as well as the sound power of machinery. We also have test stands that can be used to measure the insertion loss of silencers and pipe insulation materials, as well as the dynamic stiffness of steel and rubber springs.
In addition, we advise government agencies and industrial clients on organising and performing measurements, introducing and evaluating new measurement techniques and constructing and laying out test stands and measurement rooms.
