Wall Test Stand

In our building acoustical test stands according to DIN EN ISO 140-1 (1995-04) we carry out tests with samples according to the valid international standards.

  • In our wall test stands the airborne sound insulation of façade components, doors, wall and floor constructions is measured. They can also be used to test the horizontal airborne and impact sound insulation of cavity floors and double-deck floors.
    Room specifications:
    • Volume of the receiver room 65 m³
    • Volume of the transmitter room 75 m³
    • Test surface 14,4 m²
    • Double partition made of plastered brickwork, construction separated from the building up to the foundations

  • The floor test stand is used to determine the airborne and impact sound insulation of floor constructions as well as the impact sound attenuation of floor coverings like floating floors, carpets, cavity floors and double-deck floors in combination with solid floor structures.
    Room specifications:
    • Volume of the receiver room 50,0 m³
    • Test surface 16 m²
    • Standard ceiling made of reinforced concrete with a thickness of 140 mm supported freely by a ring beam
    • Walls of plastered brickwork

  • In our window test stand the airborne sound insulation of windows, doors and small building components can be tested.
    Room specifications:
    • Volume of the receiver room 57,9 m³
    • Test surface 1,88 m²
    • Double partition made of plastered brickwork
