Environment Meeting 2016 – Knowledge Management at the highest level
Since decades, the advanced training of engineers and qualified specialists has been regarded as central task by Müller-BBM. Therefore, our employees attend external workshops and internal colloquiums and there is a continuous know-how transfer between all colleagues and branch offices. A firm component of this offensive staff promotion is the Environment Meeting. Two days with 22 workshops and 168 participants are the benchmark data of the meeting on 22/23 January when engineers and experts from the environment area and the 11 company sites met at the company headquarters at Planegg near Munich. Traditionally, the event was opened by the presentation of all subject areas. Starting from the measuring facility according to § 29b BImSchG in the field of emission measuring technique over the field of hazardous substances, permit management as well as ambient air measurement technique and prediction of air pollution in the ambient air, the current status of olfactometry, laboratory analytics as well as safety engineering and environmental impact studies were presented in compact and detailed lectures. In the workshops, current topics such as the amendment of the TA Loft, measurement methods for supersaturated exhaust gases or the Ion Mobility Spectrometry (IMS) were discussed in detail and applicable instructions were derived. The program was rounded off by a software training for propagation programs on hazardous Incidents such as ProNuSs. Apart from the professional exchange between experts, the Environmental Meeting offers young colleagues the chance to get acquainted with the whole environment area of Müller-BBM.
