Fractionated dust measurement according to the impaction method with a cascade impactor (Marple Personal Cascade Impactor) The German Ordinance on Hazardous Substances (GefStoffV) contains requirements and options for ensuring the safety and health of employees at their workplaces. It is the responsibility of the employer to assess by work place inspections whether the admissible limit values are met. In connection with REACH (European Regulation (EC) on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) for working areas in which substances of very high concern are applied (so-called SVHC) a more detailed toxicological evaluation is required. Especially for working areas with hazardous dusts, we carry out fractionated dust measurements according to the impaction method with a cascade impactor (Marple Personal Cascade Impactor). The Marple Personal Cascade Impactor is a sampling device with 8 impaction steps for exposition measurements. The sampling is carried out directly at the respective worker.
