New convention structure for noise and air pollution control - "Müller-BBM Expert Talks"

Participants of seminars organized by the engineering company Müller-BBM could already benefit from Müller-BBM's experience of 50 years of consulting in the fields of building, environment, and technology. State-of-the-art and practice-oriented seminars are offered in the company's own training centres at Planegg/Munich, Linsengericht (near Frankfurt), in Dresden and Berlin or in adequate conference centres. The offered environmental seminars are always recognized as training courses according to § 9 of the 5th BImSchV. Seminars such as "Noise control of industrial plants", "Technical Acoustics", "Vehicle Acoustics", "Experimental modal analysis", Open-plan offices" or "Immission control in practice" belong to the best known events with both internal and external lecturers and more than 5,000 participants during the last 10 years.

The new convention structure "Müller-BBM Expert Talks – Immission protection in the planning and approval procedure" is conceived as a two-day seminar series and facilitates the exchange of experience between authorities, plant operators and consultants. The imminent adaption of the TA Luft, the ongoing BAT processes as well as the application of the TA Lärm and the resulting tasks have a far-reaching impact on plant operation and immission control. Nationwide, around 40,000 plants requiring monitoring are affected. In the course of the seminar series in Planegg (2015-03-09/10), Gelsenkirchen (2015-06-15/16) and Berlin (2015-09-14/15) with a country-specific orientation, the attendants can expect a high-grade forum for an interdisciplinary exchange on current trends, legislative framework conditions, examples from the implementation practice as well as backgrounds and solutions. In panel discussions, differing views on the respective topics will be elucidated.   The "Müller-BBM Expert Talks" facilitate the exchange of experience, impart up-to-date knowledge and support the every day work of the participants. The contact with people of comparable sectors, exchange with authorities and proximity to experts are essential components of this training concept.
