Successful Completion of the Series of Seminars on the Topic „Concrete Immission Protection"

On 3 November more than 80 participants and lecturers exchanged experience and knowledge on the current topics of immission protection in a practical and intense seminar and in the subsequent workshop at Planegg.

In five lectures, the currently most urgent questions for plant operators, municipalities, real estate companies, licensing and enforcement authorities were highlighted. Starting from the basics of a licencing procedure according to the BImSchG (Federal Pollution Control Act) over the implementation of noise protection measures in the tension field of urban development planning and licencing to areas with divers land use to major accidents during the phase of urban land-use planning and installation monitoring in practice. Finally, there was information on the present state of the amendment of the TA Luft and its possible effect on plant operation.

The following workshop was divided according to interest in the fields of "air pollution control" and "noise immission protection/urban land use planning" in order to intensify the expert exchange. The participants discussed in detail questions on the main topics of the morning event and questions exercised in daily practice with the lecturers Annika Däschler (Government of Upper Bavaria); Joachim Bittner (Müller-BBM); Armas-Christian Gottschalk (Müller-BBM) ;Till Nürrenbach (Müller-BBM); and Eva Maria Schmitz (Müller-BBM Projektmanagement).
