m|dod – Dodecahedron loudspeakers
The spherical m|dod250 speaker is specifically designed for mobile use. The dodecahedron only weighs 4.7 kg—thanks to the use of a plastic ball and loud speakers with neodymium magnets. Nevertheless, it produces a sound power level of Lw = 110 dB when excited with pink noise. The circular design ensures that all requirements of directionality are met. Its small diameter of 250 mm allows it to be placed in confined spaces.
