The ceremony of the architecture award of the austrian federal state Burgenland 2008 took place on May, 21st with a total of 24 submitted buildings. The jury consisting of well-known international architects decided to award 3 coequal prizes. They took the cultural and ecological challenge into account that nowadays applies to all constructions. Together with 2 other projects the team from Atelier KempeThill, Netherlands, responsible for the architecture of the Liszt Zentrum Raiding, came off as winner. Meanwhile, the Franz Liszt Concerthall, whose room acoustic was planned by Müller-BBM is the venue of the annual Liszt Festival Raiding. Beginning of May the Opening Concert of the "Tonkünstler Niederösterreich" under the leadership of Bruno Weil took place in the new auditorium in Grafenegg. For the first time the auditorium could prove his acoustic qualities and persuade the auditorium as well as the media of its acoustic clarity and transparency. The new auditorium that holds up to 1.300 auditors was developed with the acoustic consultation of Müller-BBM.
