Acceptance tests for the cable car in the centre of Tbilisi

Our noise and vibration measurement experts were contracted for a special final test of a sound insulation solution in Georgia. A new cable car has been built in the centre of Tbilisi, at Freedom Square. The acoustic objective is to guarantee perfect sound insulation for the rooms in a hotel below the valley station of the cable car.

The planning of an elastic mounting for sound insulation began as early as 2021. Special rubber elements are used for this. After completion and intensive testing, we carried out the successful acceptance measurements in collaboration with Doppelmayr Austria during commissioning of the cable car in 2024.
