St. Josef in Holzkirchen received the Bavarian Timber Construction Award 2018

The newly built St. Josef church in Holzkirchen received a special award of the Bavarian Timber Construction Award 2018. The jury honored the building's "extraordinary design and materiality" as well as its "impressive spatial effect". Representatives of the St. Joseph parish, of the Archiepiscopal Ordinariate of Munich as well as the Munich-based architect Eberhard Wimmer, who designed the church, received the award from Michaela Kaniber, Bavarian State Minister of Food, Agriculture and Forestry, in Munich on February 28, 2019.

During the planning and execution of this interesting project, Müller-BBM successfully supported both the client and the architect in terms of acoustics.
