Emission control in practice – one-day seminar for Emissions Control Representatives

The requirements for Emission Control Representatives in companies are constantly increasing. Approval processes for the erection of new plants or modification applications for already existing plants are extensive and require a careful preparation, a proper implementation and a respective documentation. Taking these circumstances into account and as dialogue forum for Emissions Control Representatives, the one-day seminar “Emission protection in practice - implementation in operational practice” has been developed. At the venues in Berlin, Linsengericht near Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Dresden, and Planegg/Munich, the most important topics will be described and discussed together. All current aspects are discussed, starting from the approval procedure according to the BImSchG, followed by the prevention of accidents in urban land-use planning and the implementation of noise control measures to the amendment of the TA Luft (German Clean Air Act) and the enforcement of air pollution protection from the authorities’ point of view. Constructive and critical questions about requirements and from practical experience are welcome and will be dealt with in a workshop atmosphere. The lectures of Müller-BBM experts are supplemented by contributions of local representatives from the administrations, from the Senate Department for Urban Development and the Environment of Berlin, the Regional Council of Darmstadt, the District Government of Düsseldorf, the Saxon State Office for the Environment, Agriculture and Geology and the Government of Upper Bavaria. This broad spectrum enables an intensive dialogue on current questions of emission control with all interested parties.
