Immission control conference addresses current challenges in air pollution control and noise control – 18th Müller-BBM expert talks on 15th/16th March 2023 in Munich

The Green Deal and redensification in cities lead to current challenges in immission control. New tasks await plant operators, planners and municipalities in order to achieve the climate protection goals. In this context, the issue of energy security will also be of great importance. A sustainable transformation of the economy while complying with increasingly strict regulations and the socially acceptable creation of liveable housing in the inner cities are topics with a high potential for conflict. These developments must take into account the applicable legislation such as TA Luft and TA Lärm. The actors are under time pressure and are subject to economic constraints. Top-class speakers will offer suggestions for solutions and report on practical examples on this complex of topics, among other things. In addition, expert presentations on accelerating approval procedures, low-frequency noise, odour immissions and the implementation of TA Luft 2021 round off the programme at the conference.

The opening address will be given by MDgtin Dr Monika Kratzer, Head of Department for Climate Protection, Technical Environmental Protection and Recycling Management at the Bavarian State Ministry for the Environment and Consumer Protection.

The topics:

  • Battery storage systems
  • Urban land-use planning
  • Approval procedures
