Immission measurements in the vicinity of the petrochemical industry in Ingolstadt

From January 2023 to April 2024, Müller-BBM Industry Solutions GmbH carried out odour inspections and immission measurements in the surroundings of the petrochemical industry near Ingolstadt.

The measurement parameters determined were aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons as typical volatile components of petroleum and mineral oils.

On the initiative of the Eichstätt district and the city of Ingolstadt, project management and commissioning were carried out by the Bavarian State Office for the Environment (LfU) in Augsburg. Financing was provided by the Bavarian State Ministry for the Environment and Consumer Protection (StMUV).

The final report on the project has now been published by the Bavarian State Office for the Environment: https://www.lfu.bayern.de/publikationen/get_pdf.htm?art_nr=lfu_luft_00220
