Information day for Bavarian civil service candidates
Also this year, numerous candidates have completed the training to enter the civil engineering and environmental administration service. After completing their training, the graduates will work in the fields of technical environmental protection or immission control at various public authorities throughout Bavaria. During the 15‑month preparatory service, the future civil servants have received an extensive training, with a focus on the following subjects:
- Becoming familiar with the specific features of public administration
- Acquiring the necessary legal and administrative knowledge
- Supplementing the skills acquired during training or studies in relation to the tasks of the specialist areas in offices from the respective qualification level and applying them in practice
- Training in quality-oriented, deadline- and cost-conscious project management,
- Development of interdisciplinary, networked thinking
- Preparation for management tasks and development of the necessary suitability in terms of character
As part of the graduation trip, one day before the grades were announced at the Ministry of Construction on 13th March 2025, Müller-BBM Industry Solutions GmbH welcomed a group of prospective civil servants to an afternoon of information.
After the welcome and introduction of Müller-BBM Industry Solutions GmbH by the authorised signatory Walter Grotz, Dr. Johannes Sander gave a lecture on the topic ‘Municipal climate protection: measures and recommendations’ and Niklas Löcherer on the ‘Acoustic assessment of battery storage systems in the approval procedure’. During the subsequent tour of the company, the participants learned more details about the extensive range of services provided by the engineering company in Planegg.
For a functioning immission control, accelerated approval procedures and appropriate monitoring, the project-related and professional exchange between authorities and engineering companies such as Müller-BBM Industry Solutions is of great importance. This dialogue helps to develop a mutual understanding from which both sides can benefit. The information afternoon helped to achieve this goal.
