A reverberation chamber is a reverberation room with a volume of V = 6,35 m3. It is especially suitable for the product development of sound absorbers since a comparatively low sample size of approximately S = 1 m2 instead 10 m2 to 12 m2 can be tested there. Due to the small sample sizes, sound absorption coefficients determined in the reverberation chamber are only qualitatively comparable with the results from standardised reverberation room with a minimum volume of V = 150 m3.
The following measurements can be performed in our reverberation chambers:
- Sound absorption measurement of random incident sound based on DIN EN ISO 354 for product development
