Airport Berlin Brandenburg (BER) has just published its Report on Immission Control for 2015

As early as in summer 2011 well before the scheduled commencement of flight operations, the Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH (FBB) started a multi-annual programme to investigate the environmental impact of the new Airport BER.  With an extensive scope of measurements and analyses the ongoing operation of a stationary air quality measuring station at Berlin’s Schönefeld Airport is a key element in environmental monitoring. The measurements are supplemented by voluntary investigations of the concentration of airborne pollutants in or on bio indicator plants (bio monitoring), by studies on the impact of potential emissions on bees and bee products (bee monitoring and by odour immission measurements in the surroundings of the airport. All investigations are carried out by recognised experts or test laboratories. For the evaluation of the results from this environmental investigation programme, comparative data from the air quality measurement network of the Environment Agency of Brandenburg (LfU)  were used.

Immission Control Report, elaborated by Müller-BBM, covers the effects of gaseous and particle-bound air pollutants and odour.
