Human vibrations
Occupational health and safety: LärmVibrationsArbSchV (Noise and Vibrations Occupational Safety and Health Ordinance) - ArbMedVV (Ordinance on Occupational Health Care) - Directive 2002/44/EC
The Noise and Vibrations Occupational Safety and Health Ordinance determines action values for the daily exposure of workers to hand-arm vibrations (HAV) and whole-body vibrations (WBV). If these are exceeded, the employer is obliged to assess the risks for his employees, to monitor them and to implement protective measures.
Both for risk assessment and the development of vibration protection measures Müller-BBM can provide advice. In detail, we offer the following services:
- Assistance in the preparation of a risk assessment
- Execution of state-of-the-art measurements – hand-arm vibrations and whole-body vibrations
- Determination and assessment of the exposure to vibration
- Development of technical and organizational vibration protection measures
- Support in finding technical solutions, e.g. low-vibration machines, tools and vehicles
Directive on Machinery (Directive 2006/42/EC) and „Outdoor directive“ (Directive 2000/14/EC))
In our own test facilities we can offer you the following measurements:
- Vibration measurements in the test stand for hand-held and hand-guided machines
- Noise and vibration measurements for machines with special risks due to their mobility as well as for mobile machines and vehicles
- Noise measurements in the test stand or at the installation site of the machine
