Roofing ceremony of Müller-BBM Holding AG

Shell of new building at the company headquarters in Planegg completed.

On April 9, the roofing ceremony for construction section 6 of Müller-BBM Holding AG was held in Planegg. Architecturally appealing and modern, the building offers a floor area of approximately 4.800 m2 with additional parking space for 55 cars, seminar rooms for more than 250 attendants and a staff restaurant for 300 meals a day.

The architects of BMBW Munich, the company in charge of the planning of the new building, were more than satisfied with the project’s progress so far. Great praise was expressed for the innovative design planning Müller-BBM’s own engineers delivered in terms of room and building acoustics, thermal building physics, structural fire protection and the detail planning of the façade, audio and video technology, the computer network and the telephone system. With an investment volume of 12 Million Euros, the company is building 150 additional offices at its head quarters in Planegg.

Chief Executive Officer of Müller-BBM Holding AG Rolf Michelsen is happy to soon be able to offer the companies of the Holding AG ample space for their further expansion in a state-of-the-art environment. Presently, 250 employees of the daughter companies are located in Planegg, of a total of 500 employees working worldwide.

The new building is expected to be finished and ready for occupancy in spring of 2010.
