Announcement of Dr. Olaf Treusch as an expert pursuant to Section 29 b (1) BImSchG

The announcement of our colleague from Planegg with effect of 1st February 2024 as an additional expert of Müller-BBM Industry Solutions GmbH in accordance with Section 29 b BImSchG extends to safety-related inspections and inspections of safety-related documents of installations requiring approval (4th BImSchV) within the scope of Section 29 a BImSchG, in connection with personally represented specialist areas. The announcement pursuant to Section 29 b BImSchG applies nationwide.

In accordance with the disclosure guideline, the announcement of Dr. Olaf Treusch covers the following specialist areas

  • On-site inspection of system components
  • Quality assurance, conformity check
  • Process engineering
  • Evaluation of substance properties
  • Examination of special technical questions on explosion protection

for the following plant types according to Annex 1 of the 4th BImSchV:

  • Plants for the generation of electricity, steam, hot water, process heat or heated waste gas through the use of fuels in a combustion facility
  • Plants with a power of 1 megawatt to less than 10 megawatts, in the case of combustion engine plants or gas turbine plants in conjunction with biogas plants
  • Plants for the production of fittings using cement or other binders by tamping, jolting, shaking or vibrating with a production capacity of 10 tonnes or more per hour;
  • Plants for the production of substances or groups of substances by chemical, biochemical or biological conversion on an industrial scale
  • Plants for the production of pulp from wood, straw or similar fibres
  • Plants for the production of paper, cardboard or paperboard
  • Plants for the production of chipboard, wood fibre boards or wood fibre mats;
  • Plants for the production of pressed wood products (e.g. wood pellets, wood briquettes)
  • Plants for melting animal fats
  • Plants with thermal processes, in particular degassing, plasma processes, pyrolysis, gasification, combustion or a combination of these processes
  • Plants with less than 50 megawatts
  • Plants for flaring landfill gases or other gaseous substances
  • Plants for non-hazardous waste not covered by No. 8.6.3 in conjunction with biogas plants
  • Plants for liquid manure, insofar as the treatment is exclusively for utilisation by anaerobic digestion (biogas production)
  • Plants for the temporary storage of waste, also including sludge
  • Plants used for the storage of liquids, with the exception of plants covered by No. 9.3
  • Plants used for the storage of substances specified in the list of substances in No. 9.3 (Annex 2) (excluding plants used for the storage of 200 tonnes or more of explosive substances, mixtures and products containing explosives)
  • Plants for the production of adhesives, with the exception of plants which prepare these products using only water as a diluent
