IHK Environmental Dialogue “Reduction of pollutants“ on 8th May 2024

By 2050, the EU wants to move closer to zero pollutant ambitions for air, soil and water. Trade and industry are confronted with a whole range of legislation with corresponding targets. On 8th May, the IHK Environmental Dialogue will address this challenge under the title "Reduction of pollutants - the economy acts".

The keynote speech will be given by Prof. Claudia Hornberg from the German Advisory Council on the Environment followed by a presentation by Mr Stefan Leiner from the EU Commission Directorate General for the Environment.

In addition to the panel discussion with representatives of the Bavarian Ministry of the Environment, the EU Commission, companies and the Bavarian Parliament, the participants can look forward to three parallel topical forums on requirements and measures for the protection of air, soil and water. The topical forum "Air pollution" will be moderated by Walter Grotz, managing director of Müller-BBM Industry Solutions GmbH. Walter Grotz will be supported by Hermann Blomeyer, Environmental Officer of Flughafen München GmbH, and Julian Rubach, Environmental Protection Engineer at the Unterallgäu District Office and Chairman of AGU Bayern e.V.
