New version of the TA Luft - Expert interview with Walter Grotz on Bavarian Television

In December 2020, the draft for the revised Technical Instructions on Air Quality Control (TA Luft) was approved by the cabinet. The Bundesrat may vote on the draft before the summer break. Until then, the responsible committees of the Bundesrat still have to examine and discuss a large number of proposed amendments from industry and agricultural associations. But what are the effects of the provisions contained in the current draft? Bavarian television, with its program "Unser Land" (Our Country) and the content focus "News from Agriculture, Environmental and Consumer Protection", wanted to know more and sent Robert Haberger and his editorial team to Planegg. The expert discussion with the managing director of Müller-BBM GmbH was conducted under the heading "Animal welfare versus climate protection: More gases escape in open stables". Walter Grotz, who studied agricultural science, used case studies and dispersion models to explain the topics of "odor immissions" and "nitrogen input".
